WHAT FUN!

It may have taken 30 years to get it together but it was worth the wait! I'm somewhat chagrined to post my pictures following Chris's. (Chris, your work is incredible!) Anyway, I didn't take nearly as many as I thought...but here they are...

In case anyone needs help: Holly Groff Moore and her daughter, Hank Ogilby with his son with Eric Peabody and Bob Bannister with Helen Traversi and Bob's son.

Keep Them Coming !

Wow, Chris, great job with these pics, you didn't waste any time ! Keep them coming... they are too much fun ! And you others who had those compact digital cameras flashing away... POST THOSE PICS HERE so us foreigners who couldn't make it can see all you wonderful people... !!!
.
Love that picture of the Fab Four organizers ! I swear, you 4 haven't aged a day !!!
.
Cathy, I was talking to Carol Neiley the other day, who is here in France, but she hasn't been able to get into the SHS blog... can you send her an invitation again to enter the blog?
.
Dylan, got your message, wrote back, please let me know if you got it, as you may not have gotten the earlier one either (spam filters??)
.
Chris, have sent a couple there... did you get the Avedon photo?
.
All, would love to hear from you all, feel free to write to : owenphil@wanadoo.fr
.
Greetings to all, again, would have loved to have been there and seen everyone... and as a picture is worth a 1000 words, here's me out on the Brittany coast last summer where we love to go several times a year. Have camera, will travel...
.
Robert William Service was another who loved that area, and ended his life there... if you haven't read any of his poems lately, track them down on the net...
.

Okay then...

Hi All,

I'm looking forward to our upcoming reunion. It's been great to catch up with people! A lot happens in three decades. Post-reunion I will take the time to type a short synopsis of my life since high school (which will be my first foray in blogging) but for now I just wanted to include a few details about our Friday night pre reunion gathering at the Iron Grill Brewery in Media November 28.

Originally we just wanted to pick a place that would be convenient for people to meet up if they were in town by Friday night or for one reason or another were not able to make our Saturday reunion. As it started to look like we would get a pretty good turn out, we decided to reserve a private room in the back of the restaurant so it would be easier to talk and mingle - this entails pre-ordering some appetizer food and booking a server- thus the "cover charge." The drinks will be available at a cash bar set up in the room.

Please feel free to bring your kids if you would like to - I'll be bringing my girls (ages 15 and 17 .) The event is scheduled from 7:30 -10:30 PM.

I'll be sending out an email to the whole group in a day or so with all the Friday night details. You can email me at amybudinger1@gmail.com if you have any questions about the Friday evening gathering.

Best,
Amy Condren Budinger

Returned to Scene

While looking through material for the other blog, I realized that the photo posted below was not the first time I'd photographed the scoreboard at the elementary school field... it looks a little better in this one... about 20 years earlier. Well, scoreboards, like people, start showing signs of age after a while... as time just keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking, into the future... and don't start thinking I have a fixation about scoreboards either...
Now, we know some of you have closet shelves and desk drawers full of shoe boxes with stacks and stacks of old photos in them, it's time to get them out, go through them, and get them on the scanner... we know you have a scanner at home, and start growing this blog... like a tomato plant, you have to talk to it, water it, and let the light shine... speaking of which, anyone seen the Rolling Stones movie, Shine a Light ?
